Staying on top of training

Prestige Network maintains high standards with ongoing staff training and certifications, assuring clients of quality service in language solutions.

We aim to keep our staff up to date with training and certification which gives our clients confidence in our abilities and fulfils a corporate responsibility to our staff. Training is also regarded as a prerequisite and mandatory part of many contracts.

Many of our courses are delivered using e-learning (and are available in a variety of languages of course!). Our Head Office staff have recently been invited to engage with the following training:

  • Coronavirus Awareness
  • Cyber Security Awareness
  • Equality and Diversity
  • Fire Awareness
  • GDPR Essentials
  • Health & Safety Basics and Essentials

Our translators and native speaking interpreters have to undertake language training before they even join us, and then they benefit from further training, certification and other checks such as DBS and Security clearance to help them do their job better and to comply with government regulations.

Our native-speaking interpreters are accustomed to working in stressful, highly emotive environments, and are trained to be impartial. They have undertaken Safeguarding training including:

  • Deprivation of Liberty Standards
  • Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults
  • Safeguarding Children (Level 2)

In addition, our apprenticeship training scheme has been so successful with apprentices who have now qualified, that we have just welcomed a new IT apprentice to the team and are actively looking to recruit our next cohort.

As the need for localisation and new technology continues to expand in our markets, we are always interested in hearing from Freelance Copywriters, Transcreators & Creative Translators and Machine Translation Post-Editors and Proofreaders.
