Charity and Causes

Here at Prestige Network, we believe that the thrill of giving lasts a lifetime. This page has been set up to share the outstanding work that the charities and fundraisers tirelessly carry out in our communities. We look forward to sharing more and more success stories with you as we continue to donate to even more wonderful causes.

That’s why we donated £55,000 to these amazing charities in our financial year 2021-22

The Save the Children Fund, commonly known as Save the Children, was established in the United Kingdom in 1919 to improve the lives of children through better education, health care, and economic opportunities, as well as providing emergency aid in natural disasters, war, and other conflicts. They now carry out their work in over 100 countries.

Prestige Network make regular monthly donations to Save the Children and we made an extra donation in September following the floods in Pakistan.

In April 2009, Spotlight started to provide free and low-cost activities for young people in Basingstoke, helping them increase confidence and self-esteem. It wasn’t long before the vision grew and founder Michaela could look to expand.

In addition to fun activities for young people, we also provide emotional and practical support where needed – a crucial aspect of supporting mentally healthy youngsters.

We made a one off donation in our 2021 – 2022 financial year which paid for 10 children to have a paddle boarding session – you can read more on this in our blog below.

The Anis Foundation was founded to provide audio products with a moral and spiritual backbone for children. They believe that storytelling is fundamental to a child’s growth and development.

We make regular monthly donations to The Anis Foundation.

Daisy’s Dream is a locally based children’s bereavement charity which supports children, young people and their families who have faced the death or life-limiting illness of someone they love.

Daisy’s Dream offers a free, tailored support service to over 800 children and young people every year in Berkshire and the surrounding area. The support is delivered by their team of professionally trained therapeutic practitioners, who provide telephone support, 1 to 1 sessions either at school or at home and group events, which are especially important in helping young people relieve the sense of isolation they often feel following the death of someone close.

The death or serious illness of someone close can have a devastating effect on a child or young person. However, with the right support and information, children and young people can be helped to understand what has happened and learn to move forward in a positive way.

They do not receive any government funding and it costs around £500,000 every year to provide our service, so support from local communities and businesses makes a huge difference and positively impacts the number of families we can help.

Nabil, a brave young boy, is battling a severe form of functional neurological disorder (FND). A GoFundMe campaign, titled ‘Please help Nabil walk and talk again,’ was created to support his journey towards healing. At Prestige Network, we were deeply touched by his story and contributed to help his family during this difficult time.

Recently, Nabil was diagnosed with a severe case of post-vac syndrome, which has further complicated his symptoms. A new GoFundMe has been established to raise funds for the essential treatments and therapies he requires.

“For several years, Prestige Network has been a great supporter of Zambian gems in the field of education in Southern Africa and Asia”

Founded in 2005, Zambian Gems Foundation has evolved from upgrading a local clinic and school in Chibolya, Zambia, to impacting global communities. Key achievements include the establishment of the Blessed Vale School, St Cecilia Orphanage, and various educational and healthcare facilities across Zambia and beyond. We’re dedicated to empowering communities through education, with recent efforts extending to girls’ education in Afghanistan.

This Christmas (2023), our Head Office Team led a Food Bank Collection at our headquarters. This effort demonstrates our commitment to community support, ensuring a steady flow of donations to local food banks. It’s a key part of our company’s dedication to making a positive impact in our community.
