Recently our Shared Services team hosted our first Wellness Session of 2021 for interpreters.

Since many of us are still living with tight restrictions and working from home, we wanted to bring individuals together to connect with others, share their experiences, raise any concerns and bring forward ideas.

We discussed a range of topics including how the pandemic has changed their way of working, some of the challenges they faced throughout the year, what Prestige Network can do to support them further and what they would like to see in future Wellness Sessions.

The group also brought many ideas to the table and provided valuable feedback about Prestige Network, especially glowing reviews for our Interpreting Team who are always so warm, friendly and helpful at resolving any queries interpreters may have with their bookings.

The consensus from the group was that the Wellness Session was a great way to meet head office staff, a chance to bounce ideas off each other, discuss tricky scenarios and how to overcome them and, most importantly, maintain connection to the other members of the Prestige Family.

In fact, the response has been so overwhelming that we have already scheduled our next session. Our April Wellness Session will be on Wednesday 21st April 4-5pm.

If you are free and wish to take part, please email sharedservices@prestigenetwork.com to request the Zoom link invitation. And if you want to join in the fun and be a part of the Prestige Family, you can register here.

There is nothing to prepare – just bring yourself, any ideas/suggestions you may have and your beverage of choice.

And for the translators, transcribers and other linguists out there, don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten. We will be looking to hold wellness sessions for you down the line, so watch this space.
