Prestige Network recently attended an event hosted by one of our clients, aimed at promoting equality and diversity among its employees.

Prestige has been supporting the client with sign language provision since a recent contract win, to provide BSL as part of reasonable adjustments for workforce. The two-year contract (with an option to extend) will help the organisation meet the needs of hearing impaired staff, and allow the organisation to fulfill its requirements towards them.

Prestige Network’s contribution to the event included a stand at which two of our qualified BSL interpreters taught attendees how to sign in British Sign Language, the most commonly used signing language in the UK.

Lessons included some basic sign phrases and finger spelling, which visitors greatly enjoyed.

Prestige welcomed the opportunity to engage with and show its dedication to BSL community, as well as communicating their exceptional work.
