Tell us a little bit about yourself
I joined PN almost two years ago, a time which coincided with my move to Newbury from where I lived before… North London. My time at PN for me has been and continues to be a real privilege and terrific opportunity, to be part of the PN Family! The wonderful staff are a source of inspiration, they work together as one unit because of their common goal and interest in the idea of service to others, and although from different teams within the organisation, covering various aspects of the business, yet they have same vision of service.
I am a Baha’i, and now can also say after two years of living in Newbury a local! I love taking long walks come rain or shine, enjoy listening to music (have a varied taste for all things music) and I love dogs but especially miniature dachshunds!
Why did you decide to work at PN?
One thing I noticed almost immediately on joining PN was the fact that although obviously Prestige Network is a phenomenally successful business, but what differentiates it most from those around it, is being a source of support and service to individuals, groups, and communities.
What do you like most about working here?
I genuinely believe our dedicated wonderful linguists give a voice to their clients, they are like a bridge if you like between different parties, connecting those who do not share the same common language. This is especially significant when the clients first contact PN for support, carrying feelings of isolation, frustration, concern, and possible fear of misunderstandings which may arise due to the lack of poor communication, which possibly may harm effective support they may require from an array of services such as Health, Education, Social, and Legal services to name a few. And here is when our wonderful army of linguists step in to help and assist.
How does your role fit in with the work of the company?
Although I manage a panoply of issues connected to Facilities at PN, but luckily covering the Reception Desk being also part of my duties, inevitably provides me a unique and I could say panoramic view of PN business in its relation to the outside community, clients, visitors, and enquirers. It fills me with joy to experience first-hand the feelings of genuine appreciation and gratitude from our clients for the support they receive from PN.
My many thanks to PN organisation and my lovely co-workers for their support!
