About the Client: Firehouse Productions
Firehouse Productions are internal communications specialists with a raft of unique methods that provide progressive communications for an impressive client roster, including O2, Kingsfisher, M&S and Shell.
As part of their offering, they were asked to put together a major internal event for Kingfisher in Farnborough, which involved delegates from several different countries. That’s where Prestige got involved…
Having created and developed the large international event for Kingfisher, showcasing new lines to colleagues from across the globe, Firehouse were in need of tour guides and simultaneous interpreters for Polish, French and Russian.
What’s more, there was the hardware to consider too; specialist headsets and microphones were needed to ensure that the tour guides and interpreters could be fully understood by the delegates.
As well as sourcing interpreters and interpreting equipment, Prestige Network project managed the whole language side for the international delegates. As the required turnaround was less than two weeks, complete efficiency was imperative.
In order to meet the challenge, we needed to:
- source interpreters in 3 languages at short notice
- arrange travel and accommodation
- source a range of equipment and headsets
- provide on-site support
- engage in post-event feedback
We used our extensive network to arrange for XX interpreters over the three days at short notice, ensuring that all languge requirements were met. We were also able to provide 135 interpeter headsets and microphones for the event on each of the three days.
At the event our project manager provided on-site support, to make sure delivery went smoothly and delegates received the best service possible.
“Very professional service. The turn around time for the initial cost was fantastic and came in lower than initial quotes received from other companies.” – Producer, Firehouse Productions
