Which of your services is best for me?
We do a whole range of services, including sign language, multi-lingual publishing and voice recording. We work with more than 4,000 linguists to ensure that we find the best match of linguistic skills to meet the specific requirements of your job.
We can even work with you to develop new services if you want something we do not already offer. Just call us to talk through your requirements.
What if I change my mind about details later?
We can accommodate changes at any stage. A small change may be included in the original price, but if we need to go back to the linguist there may be an extra cost.
Do I need to come in to see you?
We are quite happy to set everything up over the telephone or by email, but for larger more complicated projects it can be advantageous to meet you in person. We can work in whatever way suits you best and whichever way you prefer.

What level of BSL can you do?
Prestige Network can supply you with a British Sign Language interpreter for any level. We only employ qualified BSL interpreters.
If you have any doubts about which level you need, just give us a call and we can go through your requirements.
Do I need more than one BSL linguist for a whole day's conference?
British Sign Language is a very complex language which can be quite physical. It can be tiring to both deliver and listen to. It is for this reason that our BSL interpreters work in one and a half hour sessions before having a break. Any full day BSL booking must therefore mean at least two linguists.
Do you have other sign language interpreters?
Yes we do. British Sign Language is just one sign language, but we also do Scottish Sign Language (SSL) and Irish Sign Language (ISL) as well as lip speakers, deaf/blind interpreters and palan typists (speech to text interpreters).

What kind of format can you deliver voice recordings in?
We can deliver voice recordings in a variety of formats, from DVD, to .wav and MP3 files, audio CD or data CD. Send us your script and we will allocate you a project manager, who will work with you closely on this project.
To help you decide on the format of your final product, we will need to know about where and how you are going to use the material.
Is this service available for non-mainstream languages?
Yes. We have around 4,000 voice recording artists. We can provide the voice recording service in any language you need, even non-mainstream ones such as the African dialects.
Do unusual languages take longer to find someone in than others?
Yes. Some of the more unusual languages take longer to source. We also have to ensure that the linguist's voice and diction is suitable for the activity - some jobs need a linguist with an authoritative voice and others a softer voice.

Will our documents look the same in different languages?
Yes, your document will have the same layout in all languages, but right to left languages will be mirrored. We aim to closely match fonts.
