Prestige Network is celebrating a major milestone this week after a south-east England police force became the company's 500th public sector client recently.
Prestige PR and Marketing Executive Kate Wiley said that the company's fast and individual service meant they were able to provide the client with a qualified interpreter of the rare Malayalam language within three hours of an enquiry being made to the company's head office in Thatcham. Due to their strict promotional policy the client must remain unidentified.
Ms Wiley said that while the company is almost always able to provide interpreters on short notice, the standard amount of notice for interpreting in rare languages is usually at least 24 hours.
She said reaching 500 public sector clients had cemented the company's position as a leader in the language services industry.
"To be working with 500 public sector clients is a major achievement for any business, and this confirms our position as a leader within the language communications industry."
Ms Wiley said that with business globalisation and increased ability to travel worldwide, governments and private companies are becoming more aware of the need to communicate in languages other than English, putting language services in high demand not just in the UK, but across the world.
"We are experiencing a steady rise in business and we are taking increased bookings from Police, solicitors and other members of the legal sector as well as a wide range of other public and private sector organisations.
"Prestige Network has always had a strong reputation for the quality and dependability of our service, and it is this solid reputation, quality of service and commitment to our customers that has puts us firmly at the top of our industry."
