Prestige Network linguists meet for first time in Stockport

22 August 2007

Prestige Network's key linguists came together in Stockport for a special networking meeting last week.

Linguists originally from countries including Iran, India, Poland, Portugal, Brazil, Eritrea and the Czech Republic came from across the UK to attend the meeting, which provided them with an opportunity to network with other linguists and Prestige Network staff and to provide feedback on working with the company.

Prestige Network's Operations Manager Salome Waugh said the day was a success with a lot of positive feedback from linguists about working for Prestige Network.

"The linguist meeting we held was fabulous," she said.

"In today's very busy world we often underestimate the value of meeting people in person.
"It was an absolute pleasure to meet with all the linguists and was also a good platform to share ideas which would be mutually beneficial."
