Reports To Interpreting Manager
Location  York House, 68/70 London Road Newbury, Berkshire RG14 1LA
Brief Description Working closely with the Interpreting Manager, you will be focusing on client satisfaction by ensuring quality standards are maintained through careful recruitment of interpreters.  In this role you will take ownership of the recruitment of interpreters also dealing with a wide range of administration duties and support to the interpreting department.
Duties and Responsibilities
  •  Processing returned applications & documents, updating internal systems to reflect this
  • Following up applications that have not been returned or have missing documents
  • Maintaining our linguist database for all updates regarding personal information such as addresses, bank details, etc
  • Providing references for interpreters
  • Facilitate DBS and security clearance applications
  • Issuing of Prestige ID badges on completion of applications
  • Following up with interpreters to check updated availability
  • Assisting interpreting department to find interpreters in specialist languages
  • Operate conference calls using specialist software
  • Provide telephone support for interpreting department
  • Assisting the interpreting department with bookings and admin during busy periods
Essential Skills
  • A good command of the English language, both oral and written
  • Excellent telephone manner with a focus  on customer service
  • First-class organisational and co-ordination abilities
  • Good attention to detail is vital
  • Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel & Outlook
Desirable Skills
  • Previous experience within a similar role (or customer service representative role) would be a distinct advantage although not essential as full training would be provided
  • Familiarity working with Salesforce or similar CRM system
  • Punctual
  • Flexible, enthusiastic & positive attitude
  • Ability to keep calm under pressure
  • Very good at multitasking
  • A natural passion to provide a consistently high level of customer service
  • A team player with a helpful disposition, yet enjoys taking own initiative and can work independently
  • A confident, innovative and methodical approach to all duties
  • Willing to travel to recruitment events if/when necessary
Hours of work 37 hours per week

Monday-Thursday 9am-5:30pm

Friday 9am-5pm
