After nearly 10 years’ service, Helena leaves Prestige Network

In an emotional farewell, we had to say goodbye to one of our most dedicated employees last week as Helena (below right) will be leaving the UK shortly to spend more time with her family back in Slovakia. Her dedication and length of service sets an example to us all – such loyalty is rare. Chairwoman Shohreh Fleming (below left) said “Helena’s friendly and pleasant personality will be greatly missed by all of us.”

helena-10-years-service-resizedShe started with us here at Prestige Network in early 2007 and has seen changes in staff, customers, interpreters and even a major office move this spring. A hit with customers and interpreters alike, Helena could be relied upon to solve problems of all shapes and sizes – her ability to persuade interpreters and liaise with clients has fulfilled many a booking. She trained new staff in the Interpreting team, where her deep operational understanding meant she was perfect for the job, and also advised our IT team on process optimisation of our internal CRM systems.

During her time at Prestige Network Helena managed accounts ranging from solicitors and law firms in the commercial sector to public sector accounts including the Department for Work and Pensions as well as NHS Foundation Trusts all across the UK. One of her accounts even sent us in this: “I and our admin team have been using Prestige for all our interpreting needs for a lengthy period now and I wish to express gratification and commend Helena in particular for the excellent rapport and relationship we now share.

During this period (since May last year for me personally) every single interaction has proved as fruitful as one could expect. Helena’s communications are concise and timely, her attitude and endeavours are complimentary to your image and she provides a reliable avenue of professional relations that is indispensable to us. Due to the nature of our business we may have to operate at extreme urgencies and in delicate fashions and she tackles all scenarios with a respectable professionalism.”

Interpreting Manager, Waheeda Soomro, said of her “She will be sorely missed, her endless optimism and patience dealing with clients and interpreters really kept our team going, as well as her Slovak radio!”

We wish her and her family well and trust she will get in some time skiing later this winter.

For any clients whose accounts were being managed by Helena, rest assured we have a robust transition plan in place and your staff will have been notified of key contact changes.
