Police Interpreters and Translators

Police Interpreting Services

Supplying interpreters to the Police force requires Prestige Network as a company to be responsive, proactive and rigorous in our processes. We ensure that our interpreters are DBS (formally CRB) checked as well as having CTC or SC (security cleared) status when required.

We also insist that Prestige Network interpreters working with the Police service are experienced in working with the Police and legal services, are familiar with PACE codes of practice and are DPSI or equivalent, qualified.

Fluent native speakers, our Police interpreters are also sensitive to specific situations which may arise when working with the Police service - this includes working with minors, dealing with sensitive material and sometimes interpreting during volatile circumstances.

Prestige Network's interpreters are available at short notice to interpret over 200 different languages and dialects including BSL (British Sign Language). When time is of the essence, if necessary we can provide instant telephone interpreters until such time as we can get an interpreter to you onsite.

Professional, highly qualified and adept at sensitively working with the public, Prestige Network has a successful record of working with the Police and we continually work to maintain and improve upon it.

We provide a 24/7 professional and easy to use telephone interpreting service for our contract clients. You can be connected to an interpreter within 2 minutes and, if you have a regular requirement, rates can start from just £0.99 pence per minute.

Translating Documents for the Police

Translation of documentation is also a service we are able to provide, this would be handled by translators skilled to work with law enforcement teams. You can find out more about our document translation services here.
