Types of Interpreting Services

Different situations require different interpreting skills. At Prestige Network we can provide all types of service in over 200 different languages, including British Sign Language.

Our various interpreting services are as follows:

British Sign Language Sign Language (BSL)
The language of around 70,000 people, which uses visually transmitted sign patterns to convey the meaning of a speaker's thoughts.

Conference Interpreting
Consecutive and simultaneous interpreting for conferences, conventions and events of any size.

Face to Face Interpreting
Standard form of interpreting. Interpreter listens and then interprets at suitable intervals.

Simultaneous Interpreting
Almost instantaneous interpreting used during long passages of one-way speech. Technical equipment can be supplied.

Telephone Interpreting
Conducted over the phone or web, either by three-way conversation or under prearranged direction.
